Biography:

I am junior majoring in English at Cuyahoga Express. She is set to
graduate within 2015 and hope to also complete a small in Creative Publishing.

When asked by what first drew the woman's to prose,
she said she loved to be able to escape into this worlds she designed.
She also cited her grandmother, Minnie Phillips, jointly of her major
writing influences: _My grandma always thought
of being an publisher. She finished the girl first manuscript though she was pregnant with my mother, and publishers in those days wouldn_t even supply
her the time. Some of her pals suggested she distribute under a guy pen name, but she
wouldn_t give in. She felt your ex manuscript was some her soul, and she needed her readers to find out the woman behind the words.
_ Kate said and this inspired her to be able to
pursue writing as a career, and she hopes to follow along with in her grandmother_s footsteps and one day become the published novelist.

When she isn_t wanting to finish her school work or her latest bit of prose, Kate volunteers
as an adult literacy tutor, teaching beginning-level studying and spelling to students
at the community center. You can also find her leading this English Department_s Freelance writers Workshops,
which happen every Wednesday from 7 pm inside Davis Hall.
