Large amounts of Spam in "introductions" section

I have notice more and more spam popping up in several sections but most noticeably the Introductions forum. Is there not a way to remove the spam and ban the people posting this shit as it would be better to deal with this problem before it escalates to the entire forum being overrun with spam.
