Phone Confirmation for online orders question

I just wanted to know if websites ever call the phone number that you typed in for the "card holder" to confirm the order, or do websites usually just check the number matches the phone number on file with the credit card company?

Or both?

Nevermind, I have the answer.

If anyone else is curious, then sometimes the website will call the phone number if the order looks suspicious. But if you provide valid email on record with the card holder and have access to it, then they will not call you.
