Very often the last time to face this problem not so long ago as it is today.
And for some reason I can never remember the command to reset.
In this short post will talk about different ways to clear DNS Cache in Windows.
Why to clear DNS cache?
It is recommended to update the DNS records and will be useful in the following cases:
• after changing the DNS settings on the computer or gateway (modem router).
Let's say you changed the IP malicious DNS value Automatically or manually pointed to the correct server (e.g., 8.8.8.8).
Now you need to reset the DNS cache so that when you enter the site in the browser display the original website, not a replacement page extortionist.
• after changing the IP of a network resource.
For example, after transferring your site to another hosting — when referring to the domain name information is loaded from the new server.
Flushing the DNS cache
Using the command line
1 ipconfig /flushdns
This command can be inserted directly into the Run window (Win+R)
or Win10 click on the magnifying glass icon near the field “start”
or in command prompt (cmd)

Restart the service
Log in to Services and restart the DNS client service (or the button at the top or the link on the left):

• Clear Hosts File Is Clean Hosts file
• Clear Static IP Settings (enable DHCP) — Use DHCP and clear the setting static IP
• Change to Google DNS to Change your DNS servers to Google servers
• Flush DNS Cache — Reset the DNS cache
